Monochrome Corporation acquires Spek Technologies to enhance financial data management
Monochrome Corporation have acquired Spek Technologies, a provider of centralised data management and real-time collaboration tools. This acquisition supports Monochrome’s strategy to invest in technology that streamlines operations for financial institutions, particularly those managing crypto investments.
Spek’s platform simplifies administrative processes, improving efficiency and data accuracy.
Jordan Paris, Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Venture Capital at Monochrome, said, “Our investment in Spek Technologies reflects Monochrome’s commitment to adopting innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency in the financial industry. Spek’s platform will drive streamlined data management for financial institutions, particularly as we expand our presence in the crypto-assets space.”
Dion Jensen, Chief Executive Officer of Spek Technologies, said, “I am immensely proud of how the SPEK platform has evolved over the past few years. I firmly believe that Monochrome’s acquisition of our technology will not only further strengthen the product but also deliver significant benefits to its users.”
Monochrome continues to invest in tools that address the evolving needs of financial services, particularly in the crypto space. Earlier this year, Monochrome’s asset management arm launched Australia’s first ETF that directly holds bitcoin – the Monochrome Bitcoin ETF (Ticker: IBTC), and anticipate the quoting of the Monochrome Ethereum ETF (Ticker: IETH) in the coming weeks.
