OKX publishes its 49th Proof of Reserves report, marking more than four years of transparency

OKX, a leading global cryptocurrency exchange and onchain technology company, has published its 49th consecutive monthly Proof of Reserves (PoR) report, marking more than four years of transparency and trust through the ups and downs of the digital-asset market.

The report shows US$27,821,098,054 in on-chain assets across Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC). OKX maintained reserve ratios at or above 100% for every asset covered: 108% for BTC, 101% for ETH, 106% for USDT and 100% for USDC.

Since November 2022, OKX has published a PoR report every month without interruption. Across changing market conditions, this consistent reporting has given customers the tools and information to independently verify that their assets are backed.

The PoR report is part of OKX’s broader approach to customer protection. Built on 13 years of operating experience across multiple market cycles, OKX continues to invest in platform stability, risk-management infrastructure, proactive threat detection, account security controls and transparent reporting.

This commitment also includes OKX Shield, available in select markets. OKX Shield helps eligible customers strengthen their account protection by guiding them through safeguards such as passkeys and withdrawal protection. For eligible customers affected by unauthorized third-party account takeovers, Shield may provide reimbursement of up to US$100,000, or up to US$500,000 for eligible VIP customers, subject to program terms, eligibility requirements and availability by jurisdiction.

Together, PoR and OKX Shield address two essential customer needs: the ability to independently verify asset backing, and tools to help protect accounts from unauthorized access. These measures are supported by a stable trading platform designed to remain resilient during periods of heightened market volatility.

“For more than four years, our Proof of Reserves program has given customers a consistent way to verify that their assets are backed,” said Lennix Lai, OKX Global General Manager. “That commitment has remained constant through different market cycles, and it reflects the trust customers should expect from a platform built for the long term.”

OKX’s PoR program combines publicly accessible on-chain wallet data with zk-STARK cryptography and open-source verification tools. Customers can verify that their assets are included in the report without exposing sensitive account information.
